1. Introduction

These Terms govern the use of the photo management application “Virtual Snap Archive” (“VSA” or the “App”) and the related website provided by FefaEther (the “Operator”).

2. Eligibility

You may not use the App or related website if you are under 13 years old. If you are at least 13 but under 18, you may use VSA only with parental or guardian consent. This aligns with VRChat’s age requirements.

3. Service Overview

VSA is a desktop application for organizing photos taken in VRChat and similar workflows, including capture time, world names, user information, and camera information from tools such as VirtualLens2 and Integral. Features include automatic import, gallery browsing, search, JPEG XL compression, metadata management, optional cloud storage, optional share links, and optional X posting.

Cloud storage, share links, X posting, and related account features may not be available depending on staged rollout, plan, account state, or usage environment.

VSA is an unofficial tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by VRChat Inc., VirtualLens2, Integral, or their respective rights holders.

4. Fees

Core local features such as local photo management, search, metadata management, and compression are free to use. If VSA is distributed for a fee on BOOTH or similar platforms, that price may be treated as a support/donation distribution price, including development support and distribution costs.

Cloud storage, share links, and X API features may have different availability, limits, free allowances, and pricing depending on rollout status, plan, and monthly limits. Details are shown on the website or in the App.

5. Accounts and External Services

A VSA account is not required for basic local features. Some features, such as cloud storage, share links, X posting, and website integration, may require a VSA account, Google OAuth, X OAuth, or other external service authentication.

When using external services, their terms, API policies, and privacy policies also apply.

6. User Content

Users are responsible for the photos, post text, metadata, and other content they manage, store, post, or share. Use VSA only in ways that respect copyright, likeness, privacy, and platform rules.

The Operator may review content to the minimum extent necessary to determine whether there is a violation of these Terms, illegal use, a security issue, or another operational issue that requires investigation.

7. X Posting

X posting is performed only when the user reviews the post content, selected images, and monthly usage status, then explicitly confirms the post. X OAuth authorization links an account; it is not blanket consent for future posts.

After posting, deletion, editing, visibility restrictions, account restrictions, API limits, and similar issues are handled according to X’s systems and policies. VSA may not be able to undo a post.

When share links are used, access conditions, visibility, and expiration follow the feature’s rollout status and in-app display. Users are responsible for managing what third parties can access through share links.

9. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  1. Use VSA for unlawful or harmful purposes
  2. Store, post, or share photos, text, or data that infringes third-party rights
  3. Attempt unauthorized access, excessive requests, or limit circumvention against VSA, related APIs, or external services
  4. Redistribute or sell the App installer or paid features without the Operator’s permission
  5. Reverse engineer, modify, or analyze the App beyond what is permitted by law or applicable third-party open-source licenses
  6. Intentionally upload images, documents, illustrations, third-party content, or any other data outside the intended scope of VRChat in-game photos
  7. Misrepresent an affiliation with the Operator, VRChat Inc., VirtualLens2, Integral, or their respective rights holders

10. Intellectual Property

The App name, logos, original code, UI, documentation, and related materials belong to the Operator or their rightful owners. Open-source software included in the App is used under its respective license terms.

11. Disclaimer

The App and related website are provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, the Operator is not responsible for data loss, cloud storage failures, share link issues, X posting failures, third-party service changes, OS/security software compatibility issues, or warnings caused by an unsigned installer. The Operator does not guarantee that photos or data will never be lost. Users should keep important photos and data backed up in more than one place.

12. Changes

The Operator may change these Terms as needed. Significant changes will be announced with the revised content, effective date, and notice method on the website, in the App, or in release notes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
